And the rest of the 20 years being robbed. The pioneer of internet advertising who never got paid...

THE FRAUD, LIES ABOUT ARCHIVING THE WEB.
SOLD OUT Peoples Work IN 2000 for Profit and search indexing...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_Archive

"Brewster Kahle founded the Archive in 1996 at around the same time that he began the for-profit web

crawling company Alexa Internet. In October 1996, the Internet Archive had begun to archive and preserve

the World Wide Web.
The archived content wasn't available to the general public until 2001."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexa_Internet

Alexa Internet, Inc. is a California-based company that provides "commercial web traffic" data and analytics.

It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Amazon.com.

Founded as an independent company in 1996, Alexa was acquired by Amazon in 1999. Its toolbar collects

data on browsing behavior and transmits them to the Alexa website, where they are stored and analyzed,

forming the basis for the company's web traffic reporting. According to its website

In 1999, as the company moved away from its original vision of providing an "intelligent" search engine,

Alexa was acquired by Amazon.com for approximately US$250 million in Amazon stock

Alexa's operations grew to include archiving of web pages as they are crawled. This database served as the

basis for the creation of the Internet Archive accessible through the Wayback Machine.

The company's name was chosen in homage to the Library of Alexandria of Ptolemaic Egypt, drawing a

parallel between the largest repository of knowledge in the ancient world and the potential of the Internet to

become a similar store of knowledge.[5] Alexa initially offered a toolbar that gave Internet users suggestions

on where to go next, based on the traffic patterns of its user community. The company also offered context

for each site visited: to whom it was registered, how many pages it had, how many other sites pointed to it,

and how frequently it was updated.[6] Alexa's operations grew to include archiving of web pages as they are

crawled.

"A library provides the user with catalog technologies and services to search collections. And yet, most of the

guide services through the Web are not digital libraries, because they fail to describe its totality, having

adapted the model of library catalogs designed to index the intellectual world of a century ago (see, for

example, Steve Lawrence and C. Lee Giles, "Searching the World Wide Web." Science (3 April 1998) 280:98

-100, or http://www.research.digital.com/SRC/personal/Krishna_Bharat/estim/367.html)."

"The web uses a rhetorical structure based on hypertext; and,
is a multimedia text including mostly words and numbers, some fixed and some dynamic, and images

equivalent in size to a library of 1 million volumes; and,
was written by seven million authors; and,
most of it is distributed for free around the world."

THE LEGAL ISSUES

http://jitpl.jmls.edu/2015/04/02/summary-of-data-mining-issues-and-regulations/

"Unwanted data collection injures consumers because it violates their right to privacy protection and the

regulations in place do not properly protect consumer privacy when making in-store purchases."

CONTROLING THE CODE = CONTROLING THE WORLD.

"The code of cyberspace is changing. And as this code changes, the character of cyberspace will change as

well. Cyberspace will change from a place that protects anonymity, free speech, and individual control, to a

place that makes anonymity harder, speech less free, and individual control the province of individual experts

only."

1998-2001

By the end of 1998, Google had an index of about 60 million pages.[15] The home page was still marked

"BETA", but an article in Salon.com already argued that Google's search results were better than those of

competitors like Hotbot or Excite.com, and praised it for being more technologically innovative than the

overloaded portal sites (like Yahoo!, Excite.com, Lycos, Netscape's Netcenter, AOL.com, Go.com and

MSN.com) which at that time, during the growing dot-com bubble, were seen as "the future of the Web",

especially by stock market investors
