So the sailing last night was good. Travelling with the kite up making about 7 knots most the time heading more southerly due to the wind. We still need to head south west to avoid the duldrums and light airs and pick up the trade winds at the moment. So on we go. Currently more Westerly in direction before another Jibe south again in a bit.

I got up for my watch about midnight last night woken by Jack who had the news that both he and Nick were or rather had been sick! Then I was trying to work out if i felt sick or was it the effect of thinking about it now!! I think at this time I and the others are clear but time will tell of course!

Solar energy is starting to pick up and help the batteries again now and flying fish are back out across the bow. The pod of dolpins were great last nigth too with one doing a jump out and what can only be described as a barrel roll before diving under again.

Today I am going to make a new starting stick as my trusty 1940's screw driver has rolled off somewhere and I dont like the 1980s one so much. So with a little wiring I plan to make a tail off the starting curcuit that can be put to the one point or scavenge a switch if i can so its flick it on and off. Watch this space to see if that works!

PS Both patients are now back up and about and feeling much better thankfully so just some re hydration and rest we should all be good again!
