27/5 Nuku Hiva to Rangiroa - Day 1

On the way again. But this time we actually have wind!! About 20 knots from behind us (ENE). Travelling at about 6.5 knots which is a nice change. Should be able to make the trip in about 4 days.
Rangiroa is at the north west end of a large chain of coral islands called the Tuamoto group. Made famous (or infamous) for being the location of French nuclear testing ground Muraroa atoll - fortunately situated a long way from Rangiroa!!
