At sea now for 21 hours, engine overheat alarm came on 25 miles outside Coruna but not had problem since. Water was going through engine and everything seemed ok. Reduced revs to 2000 and have sat on that since 17:00 hrs last night. Both sails up and we have a following sea giving us a good push.

Crossed from Spain into Portugal at Rio Mino. Weather is beautiful and dark clouds seem to be getting left behind.

We have only had one incident so far when a fishing boat steered straight at us on our port quarter and had no intention of moving. Other than that we are watching for pots. The two English sail boats that left coruna with us have dissapeared. One seemed to head for the coast and the other went west further out to sea.

Crew settled in nicely and keen to push on so going into Povoa de Varzim for fuel and supplies. I will probably have to do more paperwork....
