We finally got awayfrom Exmouth at 1030 this morning with a 10kt southerly heading north around North West Cape. To our delight the wind gradually went east, then north east as we rounded the cape and  was a bit light while we has our curried fish for dinner, and is slowly now heading us and building. The forecast is for easterlies in the morning so here is hoping.
We learned a few things in Exmouth - the locals have no idea about what is happening around the cape in terms of wind strength, weather forcasting leaves a lot to be desired.
