Thursday September 30th 1800 Darwin time
Slowly today has improved. After a very frustrating time with light wind right on the nose where ever we headed, the "sea breeze" has come in and we have had the motor off for 3-4hrs now and making progress in the right direction. I suspect the wind will die out as the evening goes on. We have seen whales, sea snakes, dolphins, boobies and crested terns, and one ship last night. Got buzzed by a coast watch plane, but afer talking to them they wouldn't come back so we could get a photo. More than likely we will now stop at Broome just to collect some more fuel.
