Tuesday Sept 28th 1510hrs Darwin time.
Slow going with 3-5kts of wind from the direction we are heading. Still motor sailing at about 5.5kts. Should be at Kalooma Bay by 2 in the morning. There should be enough moonlight and calm conditions to make anchoring fairly easy. We will wait until daylight, then navigate up the rivier for a bit. The light conditions mean we can't stay as long as planned. We still have 800nm to Dampier from there, and at this pace we are looking at 7 days sailing, and we will only have 8 days to get there and probably not enough fuel to motor sail all the way. We are expecting more wind on Thursday from the South East which would be ideal.
