Firefly left hamble at 15hrs on Friday 22nd May and we completed the trip to Plymouth in 18 hours averaging 7.5 knots – Excellent sailing but extremely cold with a Northerly blowing Force 4 gusting 5 through the night. No moon and very dark!

The boat is now tucked up in Mayflower and all crew are due back Friday for the start of the Arc Portugal – very exciting!

Need a rig check though as one of the intermediates looks a little slack but nothing too serious.
