John, Paddy, Stephen and I send our love all our friends and families.
Des has’nt smoked a cigarette since he came on board and is doing fantastic
without them. He served up a great stew last night which wend down well with a full bodied red so he may not even drink
pints on his return.
The North West wind has been steadily
building and we’ve taken in two reefs on the main, it shifted to North East last
night and it’s now blowing a solid force six. We’re in big swells as we cross
off the continental shelf and we’re getting great surges of speed of 11.5kts off
the top of the waves. Magnificant sailing in brilliant sunshine albeit still
cold.
