Watch companion Eoghan quickly came to the rescue, showing mercy and throwing the hooligan fish back into the sea, Darren however remains severely shaken by the incident. Later that night it was Nathan who was to become the victim of this fishy onslaught, kamikaze number 2 must have reached heights of about 9 ft. off the water in order to aim itself at the un-suspecting Burke and into the cockpit, while stunned with shock it was Pam who this time came to the rescue and relinquished the fish back into the sea.

All nerves and grievances over the earlier bombardments were later calmed by what was definitely the appearance on the most incredible Moon seen yet, which was a deep orange and glowed out from behind the clouds like a mini sun, lighting up the entire boat.

(Sat 24)
Today was a day of action, under a blazing 30+degress the crew took down the Spinnaker for some quick repairs, some slits on the leech had appeared the day before but these were efficiently mended with a skillful application of spinnaker tape in order to save further damage. Nathan was delighted by the influx of luminous pink sail material into the lower deck as it provided the perfect opportunity for him to model and recreate his dream gypsy-wedding dressing – tiara and sparkly wand included (yes, we have photos). On the other side of the boat Simon Wookie Wall was shimmied up the mast, dangling from the dangerous heights he checked and covered all possible causes of the spreaders for the spinnakers tares, he was however deeply surprised and disappointed at not yet being able to see the Caribbean at this stage in the crossing.
