We left Wicklow on wednesday and headed Dublin in company with seven other vessels heading to the tallships in Dublin.  The wind was on the beam and F5/6 a final gift from the Gods to bring us home. Finally engine of and all sails set, a wonderful momment.  ten to ten & half knots for 4 hours steady fast sailing in close company.  It doesn't get any better.  Even a squall passing through of the Dublin mountains was eaten up. head sail set to number three full main down the track...11 knots wet no vis... bring it on. Sunshine and are destination is reached.  a great way to finish of a fantastic sail training adventure.  Tall ships Dublin has been a very well run event and all seem to have enjoyed them selves...more some than most... well thats Dublin.  Tomorrow is the parade of sail and then we must hand over to the next crew and the next story will begin... put not before one last sail...
