Started off with reasonable winds off the port bow, giving us about 60deg angle but, as usual in this game, it wasn't long before the slight north easterly became a noserly.
Jib away, main out, engine on. Sun's shining and we're playing dodgem with freighters and container ships. And fishing boats - we gave one guy a fright this morning as we ghosted off our anchor.
He was looking astern with his mate at their lines in the water and didn't pay attention to what was in front of them. Sure got a start when we appeared silently about 20 yards off his starboard to go around him. We were considering using our foghorn to get his attention but it was a nice morning and it would have spoiled it.
Interesting night coming up - we're on the main route to Valencia and Barcelona so it could get busy.
