Day 5 - Flying fish

Continue our sail to Cape Verde to carry out sail
repair, seems to be taking forever as we are all keen to get back on track
and head for St Lucia.
Our day was made a little brighter when we spotted
flying fish several times skimming the water and flying what seemed like 30
-40 meters.
We had 2 land on the deck which we found amusing
as Alan has been fishing with no success and now they are jumping onto
the boat.
Alan is currently more likely to catch a cold than a
fish.
Approx 100 miles until Cape Verde which should mean we
arrive early afternoon tomorrow. We are hoping for quick turnaround and get on
our way.
Self praise is not praise but I was proud of
my home made cottage pie this evening which went down well with everyone
and the dish was scraped clean.
Izzy is treating us all to one of her dishes tomorrow
evening and dinner round the table is becoming the highlight of the
day.
