Day 8
And we're off again.
Engine purring beautifully and no more alarms.
Yay!
Slightly later start than intended this morning, as
we were obviously given a dodgy paella last night which made us all sleep
in.......ahem, yes, well. Moving on!
Glorius afternoon, running down the Portuguese
coast in cloudless sky and goose-winging at 7.5 knots. Temperature is climbing
nicely and just about t-shirt level. Forecast for tonight is a force 6
chasing us down from the north so not sure yet if it will affect us. Doesn't
help that the autopilot is playing up again so we're back on manual steering
until that can be sorted.
We had a great 10 minutes earlier with 2 dolphins
playing in the bow wave and got some good video shots. The new mega-trolling
line is deployed so we're just waiting for the first bite, should get something
around sunset. If anyone has instructions on gutting/preparing tuna, then please
send to us (and some wasabi sauce by DHL would be nice too!).
Off back on deck for the last rays of the
day.
