Departed Antigua on Monday 21st April. It was a very bumpy ride and fast, average speed was 7 + knts wind speed 15 –17 at times 24 together with a few squalls and some rain. Dropped anchor in Deshaies pronounced Day-ay, French owned, we checked in on a pc in a little shop on the main street, there are no signs so after asking a few locals and then finding some fellow cruisers we found it. Cost 4 Euros to cover the use of the pc and paper, what a deal! This bit of paper allows us to travel to "The Saints" or Isles the Saintes a  place we visited on the way up last season. In Deshaies, well about a mile uphill is a very good botanical garden well worth a visit, it has flamingo, parrots a water garden and a children's section. The restaurant is reasonably priced and the view is over a manmade waterfall, the path through countless specimens of trees and plants.

All being well we will visit other anchorages if the sea direction allows.
