White Egret now has a new propeller, many new skin
fittings, a new 24v alternator and regulator. We no longer have
an increasing voltage difference between the engine block and the sea as
the alternator load increases. So stability has been
restored.
We have of course been in the Canaries for over a
month now, which is quite long enough for a lifetime. We look forward to
seeing Dave Latham and his crew take over this evening and wish them fair winds
for the delivery to Antigua.
Normal service will be resumed in
January.
