Surfinn: Day 1 -Ready, Set....

We have been incredibly busy today, finishing all last minute jobs. The boys have been working hard putting all the fruit and vegetables into hammocks... we have enough bananas to sink a battleship! John and I did a last minute shop, ensuring that we picked up some extra red wine ‘goon’ sacks! 


Tonight we had our final crew dinner on land, everyone was very eager to have duck breast, as this will be a luxury we will not get during the sail. 


Tomorrow we plan to leave the dock by 10:30am, so we can get our sails up and do a few practices before crossing the start line at 12:45.
