Then we headed along the north coast of Sicilly, again overnight, and through the Strait of Messina with winds of 35 kts and a ferry on trials rushing around in unpredictable circles at 30 kts on the AIS; then south down to Riposto (37.43.8N 15.12.5E) where we had a couple of days to explore some of Sicilly and visit Taormina for lunch and the spectacular view.
