We had already been twice in Montenegro, yet I was again happy to go back for a couple of days on our way to Croatia.

Our first stop, coming from Albania, had to be at Bar to do the check in. We arrived at a quay which was not very “user friendly” for sailing boats. Our brand new white (no comments) mooring line was after having been used here, “reddish” because of the dirt & rust :(

We anchored in the big bay in front of the harbour and enjoyed the calm night (after a couple of nights with slight swell) !

The next bay, we went in the marina to fill our tanks - nooooo good but noooo wind ::((

We then motored (no comments) and stopped for lunch in front of Sveti Stefan - which used to be an exclusive fashionable summer resort for rich people, situated on an islet, yet that is currently closed (it was already closed 2 years ago - most likely then because of COVID) - https://www.visit-montenegro.com/destinations/budva/attractions/sveti-stefan/ hence that cannot be visited but only admired from around it ! We went ashore and walked along the sea to the beach in front of ex-Hotel Milocer - beautiful view and landscape !

The sea there was so welcoming that I even swam and even though it was only... 21.5 degrees :):)

We spent the night at anchor in front of a village that has been and is still being build to welcome tourists, yet that has already built its harbour (we did not go in the harbour but anchored in front of it) named : Lustica.

Our next stop was Lazure Marina - a marina completely rebuilt from a Venetian Lazaret with a very goooood high end restaurant which my husband treated me to and were I ate the best crispy duck of my life  - miaaaam !
We thought the village behind the marina would be nice but we were wrong…

The next morning and as planned by the météo (which for once was right !)  it was pouring rain… yet we put our wet gear (the ANTI-SEXY one…) and off we went to do the clearing very close by. Roberto mentioned to me “it should be quick”, well. 45 minutes after he went off the boat and after a visit from the police ON Knotty Girl, we were finally allowed to leave Montenegro to our next destination - a very close by one, namely Croatia !
