We planned to stay 3 days but stayed in Niue for 6 days and loved it.  A single island made of coral and boasted the biggest coral island in the world.  It is part of New Zealand but the people are fiercely independent and are proud of their little rock.  The people were super friendly, as with the theme of the Pacific, and were always ready to help us with a big smile at every turn.  The island itself was beautiful with lots of coral, caves and fantastic snorkeling and diving.  We could have easily stayed longer but we sailed on the 7th October for Tonga.
