It’s Tuesday the 22^nd November and we have just had a huge 2 weeks putting the yacht together for the sail tomorrow South to Dublin….. a few days delayed but not bad in the grand scheme of things.  Had a few nightmares with windows and the fridge but otherwise all is grand.  The marina has been fantastic and had a few drinks with the locals tonight as a little send off…. Wee drams as they say…. No ‘wee’ about it… jesus, they love their scotch ;)

Looking forward to our proper first sail tomorrow… weather looks shite so ideal….. rain and wind, now that’s a Scottish send off!!!!  Roy ‘Rocky’ Essam joined us a few days ago so the three of us should have a blast…. A few days to Ireland, a few days there ( depending on the grip of the Guinness… ) and then the blast south to the Canary Islands…… LOVE IT.  She is a lovely yacht though needs a clean and could do with some sunshine…. Not unlike her crew ;).
