halyard failure 6/12

On 6 December the stainless steel wire rope genoa
halyard failed and down it came, dumping the genoa in the sea. It weighs 75kgs
dry and was a little heavier full of water. Finally we got it back on board,
here is me smothering it whilst we get it secured on
deck.
