At 7:30 this morning, I phoned Bobby's Marina in
Philipsburg, St. Martin, to ask anxiously about effects of the earthquake off
Martinique, about 100+ miles away. By glorious coincidence, the woman said they
had felt only mild aftershocks yesterday, and that she had Buoy N Sea on the VHF
radio! They were five minutes from docking. I heard Phil tell her all was great
with them, and she told him I would contact all the crew families and post a
blog. Voila!
I'm sure they will post more entries once they have
shore power. Stay tuned for more of their adventures!
