Hi Everybody,

Glad to say that Fin finally did her business in the corner of the cockpit. Get her really excited and then she's a peeing machine! Ha! 

The trade winds have dropped for a couple of days so for the second time in 6 months we flew our new cruising chute. Today, 500 miles from land, it worked like it was truly sorry about the disastrous day off Cascais near the shipping lane. All is forgiven.

Celebration too: we've done a quarter of our journey across the Atlantic! Little presents were given and John seemed particularly excited about his liquorice sticks.

Some things heard on Quest's decks so far:

Jack: 'When we get to 1000 miles, I can motor the rest of the way.'
Hannah: 'There's a good whale.'
Lulu: 'Why can't I do some maths now?'
Delphine: 'The next present's Skipper, right?'
Fin: Wistful

John: 'I thought I was German until I got on this boat.'
