Torquay to Salcombe.

Having left amazingly on time 1600 on Saturday , we were waved off by family and friends, with a relatively tidy deck and piles of bags to be sorted below.  The wind started in its traditional location of bang on the nose, and having tried to sail, ended motor sailing round to Salcombe. By the time we reached the Skerries bouy the wind had all but died, so we took the opportunity to attach the Asymmetric Kite to its furling cable, after a little fiddling and finessing it dutifully furled. Back under engine we arrived in Salcombe and rafted  up just off the Town just after 8. Steak for dinner to celebrate getting going.
