The first 45 hours of
this passage the winds were variable, so we kept north, skirting round a
big low pressure area with its cloud and rain, and now benefit from beam and
broad reaching at 8 to 10 knots. Wind F5 to 6, seas big, but sea blue and now in
bright sunshine. Probably no more until the
Azores.
