30^th June / 1^st July - A couple of days in Lagos getting the boat ready for the Azores trip, exploring the town and cooling off in the Atlantic (17 degrees and v refreshing). we had a long list of jobs to be done the day before we left such as deflating and stowing the dinghy, putting our “sailgen” water generator on the stern, repairing a broken nav. light, provisioning, re-fueling, weather routing and passage planning, etc, etc. By 2100 on Friday having worked non-stop we were exhausted but ready to go.
