Cafeseerose
Sun 22 Nov 2009 16:32
24.38 n 19.12 w
course 225 T
Average speed 6.5 kts
Distance 138 miles (last 24
hours)
Wildlife 1 turtle
wave height going on 4 m
weather warm and sunny ( sorry )
head sail out only
wind speed max 30 kts average 21 kts
The wind has picked up now as of yesterday
afternoon and we are starting to pick speed up.
Last night was the strongest wind so far peaking at
30 kts.
The last 24 hours being our best total so far for
mileage.
Last night was good for speed although a tad
uncomfortable to sleep in although the distance between each wave has lenghtened
meaning were not knocked about so much more of a "roll with it" kind of
feel.
I have now been banned from fishing would you
beleive due to my prowess the other night crew saying we must finish the chicken
and beef 1st (Hmrph).
But hey todays lunch was a fantastic Nasi goreng
cooked by Jan,It was so good we may have to nominate him head chef
Lol.
Downloaded the weather yesterday from mailasail hq
and we will have good north wind blowing us south for the next few
days.
Ive decided I dont know what all the fuss was about
when Christopher Colombus discoverded the new world the waves and wind would
blow him there anyway discovering it by default almost,Lol.
The only really bad thing thats happened so far is
Greg beating me at scrabble but hey lifes short dont sweat the small
stuff.
This is cafe seerose out.
Love to all
Mark ,Greg,Jan and Mike
