We have spent the last two days cruising the Bay of Islands which of course is a destination in its own right. Yesterday Kim and Maree spent the afternoon successfully fishing, then we spent the night at Crowles Bay where we could hear the wild Kiwi calling from the bush. Today we have trialled the sea anchor successfully and will be having more fish for diner. 

Tomorrow back to Opua for final preparations, Customs and Immigration clearance Monday then we depart for Tonga Tuesday morning.

I will attempt to update this blog at sea but I am not sure that it will work with the Iridium phone software but I will try.
