Cave Cay is just a stopover on our way to Staniel Cay. We zipped in
through the entrance on the flooding tide, 8 knots with the engines
idling. The anchorage is close to the cut, just off a small beach.
We took a swim to check the anchor and then headed over to the beach to look
around. A big sign,

suggested there may have been a dog around, but we didn’t see it. We
did see a rather aggressive stringray and a shark cruising around so we cut our
visit short and swam back to Anastasia.
The island has a lagoon with a marina so we took the tender in looking for
sundowners at the bar. There were some big boats in the marina but no
facilities at all, neither bar or restaurant, so back to Anastasia once more, to
drink our own Big Bamboos (rum, amaretto and pineapple juice).

No option but to have our sundowners back on Anastasia
