Tuesday 19th June

Sunday saw us up bright and early for our flight to Majorca.  Sam and Ollie and Sue’s son Jake accompanied us…..

We arrived at around lunchtime and it was good to see Quilombo again….Mike had looked after her well…

The boys explored the boat and soon got to work with some fishing lines as well as learning a little about the boat and how she works.

Unfortunately the generator is not working properly and I will need to look at this in the morning.

Monday morning and the girls went off to purchase provisions….we had to wait for a delivery of diesel and so I had a look at the generator problem.

Generator fixed and diesel and provisions purchased, we set off at about 2.30pm for Ibiza…..later than we’d hoped but at least we got away today….

The boys had a chance to put some sails up and we made good progress…..at about 7.00pm we spotted dolphins and they spent several minutes swimming alongside the boat and entertaining us…..the boys couldn’t believe they’d seen dolphins on their first day of sailing!!

We dropped anchor at about 9.30pm in a bay on the Isle of Tagomago…..beautiful clear seas…..

All very tired so after a quickly prepared meal and a few glasses of wine we retired to bed……..

Jake and Ollie will be taking over the blog for a few days…………
