Woke up with a bang. The main halyard had parted on the sheave, resulting in the quickest reefing man has ever witnessed. Gideon "volunteered" to go aloft & feed the new Halyard. We used a 14mm line, in stead of the old 10mm. I think it will ride better on the sheave with less play. We changed the topping lift to 14mm too. So it can double as a new main halyard next week. 24 37.80N 31 47.08W
