Made Lanzarote landfall about 0400. Much welcome sail for last 4 hrs to save fuel as almost on fumes. Tried & failed to get fuel at Port Marmoles (not a holiday destination!!!) onwards to Port Calero, and then Rubicon by lunch timeish. Normal mobile phone services resumed, all the crew like teenagers getting emails n txts.
