making about 120T at mo - guam is 84T - at about 4 - 4.5kts
after an interesting day using a technical manouvere callled 'running away' we ahve avoided a potential unpleasant low by heading north and are now back on course - well as back on course as is possible when the destination is directly to wind and current.
all good aboard - looking to get a smallish but not insignificant pacific island for my birthday, so cocktails in the yacht club bar about 1800 - if anyone happens to be in the area:)
