It is only 6 days until we leave for our voyage,
and panic is setting in. There seems to be a never-ending list of things to do
and a finite amount of time to get them done
Hopefully we have put together a comprehensive list
of engine spares, a set of electronic charts together with selected paper
ones,and have a reasonable stock of medicines; all our jabs are now up to date.
Needless top say this does not sound much, but took a long time to do and cost a
fortune. We have splurged out on new lifejackets , which hopefully we will
not use. There are a lot of things in our kit that I hope we will not use, but
better safe ....We are tonight going to try to pack a case to see how we are
doing weightwise; always a problem! I'm wanting to bring quite a few
books.
