390nm sailed, 250 remaining - we are over halfway :-)
We are offically above 37N which is outside the hurricane belt our insurance uses, we needed to be here by 1st June so we've made it in good time.
Yesterdays weather forecast showed lighter winds than originally predicted. The good winds were with us until midnight, the winds were quite variable so we had many, many adjustments to do to the sails; skake reefs out, put them in, trim the sails etc. The wind died completly around midnight and we are still motoring. Although in the last hour or so the wind looks promising to hoist the cruising chute.
All okay on board, very little shipping traffic on this route and no other sailing boats around.
