Speed 4 knots. Course 010 deg Magnetic.
665 Miles to go to Bermuda
Nice fine weather and a light 7-10 knots of NE winds. Sailing on a close reach with a 1 reefed main and 100% genoa. We are back on course today but much slower.
Last night was very busy with a 28ft sailing boat, with 4 POB, 80 miles from us calling a Mayday. They were taking on water near the keel and were slowly sinking. The US coast guard flew past looking for other boats to help. At one stage I thought Topaz was the closest and we would have 4 extra people onboard! But they found a motor vessel about 10 miles from the sinking yacht to go and assist. I presume all went well with the rescue. Very calm and flat seas here. Very peaceful sailing. All good onboard.
