Nearly Half Way

We have 28 NM to go to the half way point between Cap Verde and St Lucia. We have Champagne chilling....
The sailing today has been perfect. 17 - 22 knots astern, reasonable seas and Seanachai surfing down the waves at upto 8.5 knots. Full sail at the moment which we will reduce a little overnight. Unbearably hot in the cockpit during the morning and we are mostly down below to keep out of the sun until after 1400 hrs when the sun starts to go behind the mainsail.
We are having stir fry tonight and still have fresh meat from both Las Palmas and the Cap Verde. The veg is holding up really well and we haven't had to resort to the cabbage and bacon recipe yet Charlie!
Paul has managed to miss calculate the number of fag papers he has brought with him and is on his last packet.... tensions will run high over the next few days...
Forecast is for more of the same and we are hopeful of arriving before the end of next week. We are very much looking forward to getting there for a bit of running water and beds that don't throw you around all the time.
Cheers from all on Seanachai!
