Welcome to our first load of b*ll*cks...I mean
blog!
There are now just 18 days until we set sail...and
in another 18 days we just might be nearing our destination! Exciting as
that thought is, it puts into perspective just how much we still have to do,
despite the fact that Bridget and Paul have already spent quite some time
organising and provisioning Namaste.
Bridget, Paul, Peter & Jeremy are all flying
out to the boat in Las Palmas on 10th November. Will is then due out a few
days later. Chloe & I (Ross - Namaste's chief blogger) will then be
the last to join up with the team on the 21st, just two days before we set
off.
In advance of the start date we still need to
perform a number of last minute chores. The fresh fruit and vegetable shop
for the voyage will be the last thing we do, but equally one of the most
important as the boat will be vegetarian save for bacon on Sunday mornings for
myself, Peter and Will.
All being well we will send an update just prior to
leaving and we will then be updating on a fairly regular basis throughout the
trip (weather, sea sickness and IT permitting!).
