Dear All.
The time is running.....
We had the security equipment control, which we passed, and
got the race nr. 200.
Stian left to Denmark yesterday and Reinholdt & Allan will
arrive tomorrow. We had visit from Laila and the kids ( WONDERFULL ) and a
friend. They all lef yesterday and today. Now back to the work !
-The boat is all most ready to start. We have small
adjustmends to do, buy the fresh food, test batteries and end the
engine.. and that's it.
From monday we will start to participate to seminaries
and meetings about crossing the Atlantic, the regatta's rules, security, power
management and more. We painted a picture on the northern side of the
breakewater, in the harbour, as we should and maybe we will wind a price for
it (I do hope !!). Every thing in this race is a game and our
target is to win. The 18th we will have the official opening of the race
and we have to march with flags, followed by a band, around the harbour. The
same day there is a dingy competition inside the harbour and BBQ in the
evening.
We are all OK and enjoy our time in Las Palmas.
The next mail will be sent the day of the start, the 25th. The
start is scheduled at 13:00.
