We beat against the tide today in almost perfect conditions, crawling along the coast out of the tide. A very pleasant sail of only 18 miles today.

The man is cracking up on the helm - the stress of helming demanded a G&T.

And another G&T at the half way point from Blyth to St Peter’s Marina on the Tyne near Newcastle.
