Some good wind out of Panama so left at 6.30pm, had depth but no speed on instruments! Died down about 1.00am. Spent the day @ San Pedro Gonzales in las Perlas Islands cleaning all the city filth from Fanny & scraping barnicles off in readiness for galapagos. Dept 2.30pm & had a good wind night but a mass of ships all wanting to run us over! Wind dropped about 2.ooam resorted to motor for a few hours. Now creeping along @ 3.5 KTS – walking pace- to conserve fuel for the doldrums.
