Yesterday was another quiet day wafting along in the Atlantic at slightly faster than walking speed. Nice chicken something for lunch, then cards, then other dice games all afternoon and into the evening with snacks. We played the dice game Perudo, perhaps the most Piratey of all games (Bootstrap plays and loses to Davy Jones in Pirates of the Caribbean 2 - Dead Man's Chest) for which Sam knew all the rules, and then very sportingly let us all win, or that's what he said.
We've run out of bread, beer and cheese but it seems no issue at all amongst crew who are all happily living on a boat this month, rather than "managing to get through it" as many seem to do on these long sea trips. I suppose also that we're not in such a remote area now, with dry land under 400 miles away instead of over 1,000. That's just gotta make a difference.
