We set off early (well for us anyway) aiming to
climb the volcano and be back down again before it became too hot. In places it
was quite steep and slippery underfoot, but we all made it to the top without
too many moans. Fin found a pile of rabbit bones, deposited by a bird of prey.
Tim and the boys flew the model glider they had built back on Hayling on the way
down - in spite of several flights it didn't break and made it back to Bonaire
in one piece. The boys sailed the Tera in the afternoon, Fin managing to find
himself a race!
The view which even Sam agreed made the climb
worthwhile
