On a mooring ball in an idyllic bay off Norman Island, close to “Treasure Point” in the BVI. The wind has finally come down to 20 knots having been 25 knots plus for the last five days. Staysail up today for the first time in while, hanks lubricated, all looking good. Preparations for the crossing continue; sewing in chafe protectors to the new genoa sheets to reduce wear when poled out. Hopefully I am not being over optimistic to expect some downwind work!
