Well, Orianne is just about ready to set sail. We spent a week and 500+ miles doing a shakedown in the Sea of Cortez. The boat performed well in a wide range of conditions. Once we figured out some good sail combinations for different points of sail and wind strengths Orianne moved along very nicely and and remained well balanced. There were a few minor issues to resolve (better arrangement of lines led aft, rig a spare jib halyard, seal a leaking deck hatch... little stuff), most of which are taken care of now. We just need to finish provisioning and have one last party with friends in La Paz, then we sail.  Next stop: Marquesas!
