Today, we had a fair amount of squalls. Squalls are
a weather phenomenon every atlantic cruiser knows (and by now, we know them,
too, however without fully understanding them yet).
Squalls are tropical rain showers (sometimes heavy
rain, gore tex doesn't really stand a chance after maybe half an hour), with
changing wind direction and forces (we had up to 6Bf, hence,no too
strong).
An eventfull day so far, that has brought us closer
to St Lucia - about 600nm to go (600nm would be the direct route, therefore
we'll sail somewhat more).
