ASTRA wins first place in Class..

At the ARC prize giving in St.Lucia last night
ASTRA won 2 prizes for the Atlantic crossing.
"Artistic Merit" prize for our wall painting in
Gran Canaria..
Well done Miranda and Paul Hickman for the Artistic
design and Nicky for doing the painting.
We also won First Prize for our class. Superb
achievement, Fantastic, Well Done to all the crew...
I have not won much in the way of prizes before, it
feels great to be part of a winning team, Thank you!
Some of our class finished ahead of us but it turns
out most of them had motored for long periods of time and were therefore
penalised sufficiently for us to win first place.
ASTRA came 28th out of 169 boats in the cruising
division
and 37th overall out of 235 boats.

We are now anchored in a beautiful sunny spot in
the tobago cays having lunch... lovely
