I can't believe it's only two months since we arrived in Tahiti, to join my new boat and start this sailing adventure….! It honestly feels like a year ago, that Ruth and I left London, life has been full on and pretty intense even though we are in South Pacific, island paradise! Looking back at the two months I realise that we had a very ambitious plan, and stepping onto an unknown yacht mid Pacific with a view to bonding with it and then just the two of us, sailing it halfway across the Pacific to New Zealand in four months was asking a lot….. We are still on track, with a wonderful first 7 weeks in French Polynesia, and then last week arriving in the Cook Islands, after a speedy 3 day passage from the wonderful little, French Polynesian island of Maupiti.
