Azores
to Dartmouth, Day 4 - Sunday June 6,
2010 At 1200 hrs UT: 44:47.9N
24:46.1W Distance
to Dartmouth: 919 Nautical Miles We
had a most terrific sunset this evening, made all the better by a stunning
rainbow just as the rain subsided. The weather has been fairly unpredictable
over the past two days (including intermittent rain which seems to only show its
face on my watch), but at least we're now heading directly for Dartmouth. I
can almost taste the blood sausage now. While we continue to hammer out the
miles - the wind and current at our back - in true motivational fashion, the
Hoff reminded us that "80% of this crew is made of
water, therefore the remaining 20% will still need to sail to Dartmouth".
Sounds much less daunting that way I think. In other news, we had pizza today. Oh, how the lunch gods smiled upon us! Sorry, it was a slow news cycle. Until
tomorrow, Hoff,
